The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday identified a person of interest in a shooting that left three people dead, including a 16-year-old.

Rekeymia Shatayla Henley, a 21-year-old Macon resident, is wanted on three counts of felony murder and evidence destruction, the BCSO said Thursday.

The shooting, which happened Saturday in the 500 block of Williams Street East, resulted in the deaths of Markell Bonner Jr., 16; Brandon Devonta Thomas, 21; and Quantayrias De’Monte Townsend, 27, according to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones. Thomas and Townsend were brothers, Jones said. Bonner and Thomas were found dead at the scene, while Townsend died later at a local hospital.

Jones said a rifle, a handgun and dozens of shell casings were found at the scene of the shooting.

Henley is 5-foot-6 and weighs about 135 pounds, the sheriff’s office said in a news release Thursday. She has black hair and brown eyes. She also has braces, and has tattoos on her right arm and leg, the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators urge anyone with information on Henley’s whereabouts to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
