Trust fund established for daughters of Bibb killing victim

A trust fund has been established for the three daughters of a Bibb County man shot to death Aug. 18 on the porch of his Fulton Mill Road home.

Walter Henley’s daughters -- aged 12, 14 and 16 -- are living with family out of town, said Henley’s niece, Kimberly Henley.

The family has received more than 30 letters from people wanting to help the girls, who also lost their mother to an illness about 10 years ago, she said.

The Henley Children’s Trust has been established at SunTrust Bank. Donations can be made at any branch location, Henley said.

Nathan Taylor, 28, of Macon, has been charged with murder in Henley’s death.
