The reward for information in the homicide of Albert Jelks III has been increased to $1,500, according to Macon police.
Jelks, 51, was found unconscious at 3254 Vineville Ave. on July 14, 2012, at about 7:30 a.m. He died days later at The Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Macon Regional CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward supplemented by $500 offered by Jelks’ family and friends.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call police at 751-7500 or CrimeStoppers at (877) 68-CRIME.
