Authorities have dropped a sexual assault charge against a former Weaver Middle School teacher.
In April, a 14-year-old student accused Samuel McPhee Jr. of touching him inappropriately during a music lesson at school.
Bibb County District Attorney Greg Winters said Thursday, however, that the student’s allegation “couldn’t be corroborated” after further investigation.
McPhee, 23, was charged with one count of sexual assault. The teacher was placed on administrative leave April 24.
