WARNER ROBINS -- Police released Wednesday a description of the man who robbed the Dollar General at 1515 Russell Parkway the previous night.

The suspect was described as a white male, about 5 feet and 6 inches to 5 feet and 8 inches tall, weighing 145 to 155 pounds, a Warner Robins police news release stated. He appeared to be in his late 20s to early 30s and was wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans during the robbery.

The man came into the store and went up to the register where he showed a handgun to the cashier and demanded money, the release stated. The man then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported in the incident, the release stated. The 911 call came in at 8:57 p.m.

Anyone with additional information about the robbery is asked to contact Warner Robins police detectives at (478) 929-6911. Information also may be submitted through TipSubmit by texting the tip to CRIMES (274637) and including keyword WRPD in the body of the text.
