Autopsies are scheduled to be performed Wednesday on Clinton Sintell Dickey, 32, and Shannon Lane Dickey, 23, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
The Dickeys were married, but had been living separately for several months prior to the shooting. Clinton Dickey lived at the 230 Pine Forest Drive home where their bodies were found, according to a news release issued Wednesday afternoon.
Shannon Dickey, who had been living in Gordon, went to Clinton Dickey’s home to pick up their child and the couple got into a physical altercation that turned fatal, according to the release.

The child, a young boy, is staying with relatives, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies have recovered a small caliber handgun, but Walker wouldn’t say whether it was used in the shooting.
The incident was initially reported as an apparent murder-suicide, but deputies still are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
