Another car that lost control caused a Peach County ambulance to overturn last week, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Trooper Darryl Clark of the Georgia State Patrol post in Perry said Monday that the ambulance was traveling on Ga. 96 near the Crawford County line when a car coming from the opposite direction blew a tire and lost control. The two vehicles struck, and the ambulance overturned. The accident happened Friday afternoon.
The ambulance was not carrying a patient.
Clark said there were no serious injuries. The driver of the car was charged with failure to maintain lane. He said the ambulance was significantly damaged.
