Macon police: Woman robbed at gunpoint in her car

Macon police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery from Friday afternoon.

Christie Crump told police she was stopped at a red light on Eisenhower Parkway when an unknown white man entered her car through the front passenger door.

The man pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at her and told her to drive, according to a police report released Monday.

Crump told police she drove on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Edgewood Avenue where the man ordered her to stop so he could get out of the car.

The suspect took Crump’s cell phone and a money bag containing $3,000 in cash, according to the report.
