The Georgia Supreme Court has upheld the 2008 conviction of an Atlanta lawyer found guilty of slaying a Jones County woman in 1988.
Jones County jurors deliberated less than two hours before finding Robert Allen Danenberg guilty of shooting Deborah Lamb four times. Lamb had been a friend of Danenberg’s wife, who had moved in with Lamb and her family in Gray after the couple separated.
Although Danenberg’s appellate lawyers argued errors were made during the trial, the Supreme Court found no errors were made, according to a summary of the court’s ruling in the case.
Danenberg, who is being held at Augusta State Medical Prison, is serving a life sentence, according to state prison records.
