Program in Macon focuses on how to choose a franchise

People interested in learning how to choose a franchise may want to attend a program next week offered by the Georgia Small Business Development Center.

The free program is scheduled from 10 a.m.-noon, June 28, at the SBDC office, 4875 Riverside Drive, in Macon, according to a news release.

Presenter Leslie Kuban has owned successful franchise businesses since 1999 and has helped more than 250 Georgians choose a franchise business. She will discuss the process of identifying the best choices, understanding real costs, risks and opportunities for growth. Most quality franchise opportunities require a minimum investment from the business owner, and attendees should understand that.
