Macon police found the bullet-riddled body of a 22-year-old Hispanic man early Saturday morning in Allied Industrial Park.
An autopsy on the body of Ignacio Gabriel Armenta Contrreras will be performed Tuesday at the GBI crime lab in Macon “to determine how many times he had been shot,” Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said.
“He was shot multiple times, and I mean multiple,” Jones said. “I don’t have a clue how many times he was shot.”
Police patrolling the area spotted the man’s body off Mead Road. Jones said authorities have not determined a time of death.
“I don’t think he’d been out there that long.”
Contrreras lived at a Zebulon Road address, the coroner said.
