Three teenagers indicted in 2010 slaying of Macon woman

Bibb County grand jurors indicted three people Tuesday in the shooting death of a 20-year-old Macon woman in front of Westminster Apartments on North Atwood Drive.

Dasjwan T. Foster, 17, Brianna D. Curry, 18, and Joelissa M. Johnson, 19, are each charged with murder in the death of Terrilyn Ru’nee Williams on Sept. 22, 2010, according to the indictment.

Foster, of Napier Avenue, Curry, of Bonnie Avenue, and Johnson, of Log Cabin Drive, also are charged with aggravated assault in the shooting of 15-year-old Ryneisha Rainey. Rainey sustained a bullet wound to her wrist during the murder of Williams.

Foster, Curry and Johnson are being held at the Bibb County jail without bond, according to jail records.

In an unrelated case, 39-year-old Veronica Nicole Tufts, of Britt Drive, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault in connection with the March 15, 2010, stabbing of a woman on Third Avenue. Tufts was released from jail on $16,700 bond the next day.
