Macon police are looking for the gunman and his getaway driver after a man was robbed at a Bank of America in south Macon.
The victim was making a commercial deposit at the ATM at 3855 Bloomfield Road at about 1:15 p.m. Sunday when a gunman from a silver Honda Accord approached and demanded the money bag, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.
The gunman grabbed the bag and jumped into the car to make his getaway. Police later recovered the car with its motor running while parked at Macon Gardens Apartments. The empty money bag was inside the car, which was stolen Dec. 17, the release stated.
