About 125 children were given $75 to $100 from the Fraternal Order of Police's “Shop With Law Enforcement” program to shop for toys and other gifts Tuesday.
Tuesday's event was the first of three for the FOP Sparky O' Cain Lodge.
The others are in Perry and in Milledgeville, said Dennis Pace, the lodge secretary.
The money comes from fundraisers and membership dues that lodge members pay.
