Macon police and Bibb deputies are investigating two armed robberies that might have been committed by the same gunman.
Witness descriptions are nearly identical in the incidents that were about five hours apart.
About 10:45 p.m. Sunday, a black man about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds acted as if he was going to buy something at the Circle K store at 4775 Chambers Road. He pulled a gun and demanded money from the cash register, according to a release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The robber had a beard and mustache and was wearing a red baseball cap, black T-shirt and white pants as he ran out of the store with the money.
