A Macon man was killed and a woman was wounded in a shooting at her home late Wednesday night.
Charles McKissick Jr., 26, of Robinson Court, was shot multiple times at 1023 Joseph Street off Hollis Road near Pio Nono Avenue at about 10:15 p.m., said Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.
He was pronounced dead at the emergency center of The Medical Center of Central Georgia just before 11 p.m., Jones said.
Raushanah Mitchell, 26, told police two black men came to her door and when she answered one of them shot McKissick several times, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department. The other gunman shot her in the upper legs. Mitchell is in stable condition and is expected to recover, the release stated.

An autopsy will be performed Thursday morning on McKissick to determine how many times he was shot, Jones said.
A lookout has been posted for two black men, one wearing dark shorts and the other had on a white shirt and gold pants. The men may be armed with an assault rifle and traveling in a dark sport utility vehicle.
