Gunmen sought in Pizza Hut robbery

Macon police are looking for two armed robbers who took a flat screen television from the Pizza Hut on Billy Williamson Road at about 11 p.m. Thursday.

The manager and a driver were closing the store when the men, who were wearing shirts over their heads, entered through a side door, showed a gun and demanded money, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.

The workers fled and called police about 20 to 30 minutes later, the release stated.

No money was inside the restaurant but the robbers took the television and left.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
