Restaurant owner slightly hurt in south Bibb armed robbery

A south Bibb County restaurant owner suffered minor cuts in an armed robbery this morning on Hartley Bridge Road.

Three men rushed the owner of Mr. Pizza and took his money bag as he was unloading supplies from his truck at about 9:30 a.m., according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

During the struggle the owner was scratched with some sort of a sharp object at the business in the 4100 block of Hartley Bridge Road.

The release described the suspects as two black men about 17 to 20 years old who were with a younger black male.

Both of the older men were between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall and were wearing dark clothing and white shoes. One had shoulder-length dreadlocks and the other had spiked cornrows. The younger male was about 5 feet 4 inches tall and was wearing a baseball cap with his dark clothing and white shoes.
