Man shot in neighborhood argument

Two men arguing late Monday night led to one of them being shot and the other taken into custody.

Macon police were called to 520 Poppy Ave. shortly after 9:50 p.m. where one man was shot in the leg during the dispute between two neighbors, whose identities were not included in an initial news release from the Macon Police Department.

One man was arrested and the other was taken by ambulance to the hospital. No further information was immediately available about the shooting just off Mercer University Boulevard a few blocks west of Pio Nono Avenue.
