Police say man shot by son-in-law

A 57-year-old man was shot during a argument with his 30-year-old son-in-law at about 8:40 p.m. Monday night in Wayside, a community located between Gray and Round Oak, according to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office.

Details of the shooting, which occurred at the son-in-law’s house on Old Highway 11, were unclear Monday night, including how many times the man was shot.
