Carol’s Linens, a fixture in Macon for three decades, is moving from 3658 Eisenhower Parkway to the former Barnes & Noble building on Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard.
The store has been at its current site, across from Macon Mall, for more than 12 years, said owner Carol Kaplan.
“When we moved in this location, the mall was the shopping area in Middle Georgia,” said Kaplan. “Sadly, it’s not that way anymore.”
The move, which should happen sometime around the first of next year, will put the store nearer to most of its customers, she said.
“The customers have been so excited. When they come in, the first question is: ‘Where are you moving?’ Then they say, ‘That’s where I live!’ The customers are excited that we’ll be close to where they are.”
