Five men arrested in fight at mobile home park near WR

WARNER ROBINS — Five men were arrested early Sunday morning for fighting in a mobile home park off Russell Parkway near Warner Robins, police said.

Lorenzo Vergara-Macias, 27, Juan Ortuz Carrizales, 32, Arnoldo Carrizales Espinoza, 30, Armondo Yanez Rivera, 28, and Franciso Yanez-Rivera, 25, all of the Red Fox Run mobile home park, were arrested and charged with misdemeanor affray, according to a Houston County sheriff’s incident report.

Sheriff’s deputies responding to a 911 call of several men fighting in an open area between two mobile homes recovered a kitchen knife, brass knuckles and a wooden baseball bat in the area where there was some blood on the ground, the incident report said.

Espinoza has been hit in the head with the bat during the fight, the report said.

“All the parties involved were intoxicated from the consumption of alcohol,” the report said. “There have been previous incidents at this location that have been responded to by the sheriff’s office. ... This is an ongoing problem in this neighborhood.”

Although there have been occasional fights at the large mobile park through the years, Houston County sheriff’s Capt. Robert Clark said he would disagree that there’s an ongoing problem.

None of the five people had been involved in a prior fight at the mobile home park, according to sheriff’s office records, Clark said. Yanez-Rivera complained that he had been assaulted in 2006, Clark said.

Most of the calls that sheriff’s deputies respond to at the mobile home park are domestic in nature, Clark said.

No one was apparently injured enough in Sunday’s fight to be taken to the hospital, Clark said.

The fight was called in to 911 about 1:30 a.m.
