WR woman charged with aggravated assault after shooting man with shotgun

A Warner Robins woman was charged with aggravated battery Friday in relation to the shooting of a man in the arm with a shotgun.

Dorothy Dooley, 53, is currently being held in the Houston County Jail without bond, according to a Warner Robins Police Department release. According to the release, officers responded to 202 Sonja Drive in Warner Robins at 2:04 a.m. and found Kenny Lomack, 31, of Warner Robins, suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm.

Police say that their investigation revealed that Dooley shot Lomack inside the home. Lomack was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia and was in stable condition, according to the release. The incident is under investigation.
