Macon woman charged with arson in early-morning dispute

A Macon woman tried to set fire to her apartment early Sunday after she was locked out following a domestic dispute, police said.

Macon police charged 44-year-old Glenda Fay Corbin with arson in the case, according to a police news release.

Corbin had removed the door knob from the front door of her residence at 144 Lamar Street, Apartment 8, and set fire to a rug.

She was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

No one was injured in the incident.
