Credit union in Macon reports $100,000 missing

An audit revealed $100,000 is missing from an account at Brosnan Yard Credit Union, according to the Macon police.

An employee filed a report with the police July 8 about suspicious activity in an account, according to a police report.

The employee stated audits have uncovered discrepancies in the system and the company has requested an investigation by the police, according to the report.

The alleged theft is thought to have occurred between 2006 and 2009, according to the police.
