Work near the Hartley Bridge Road exit in south Bibb County will close lanes on interstates 75 and 475 starting Friday, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
One lane will be closed northbound and one southbound along both interstates as crews do “erosion and traffic control maintenance,” DOT Spokeswoman Kimberly Larson said. The closures are subject to weather conditions, but will generally run nightly from Friday through July 2.
On I-75, the lane closures will be in effect from mile marker 154 to mile marker 156. On I-475, it will be from mile marker 0 to marker 1.
Two lanes will remain open to traffic in both directions on both roads, according to the DOT.
