Hit and run driver sought in pedestrian accident

Warner Robins police are looking for the hit and run driver that fled after striking a pedestrian shortly after 9:30p.m. Saturday on Cornelia Drive.

Jason Layman, 23, of Warner Robins, was walking south on Cornelia Drive when he was hit by a white four-door vehicle that did not stop at the scene, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

Layman was in stable condition at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, the release stated.
