A number of government agencies will join a free business- and housing-related expo today at the Middle Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins.
The Business & Housing Expo, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature workshops on a wide range of government, housing and community development topics, according to a news release. Exhibits include government agencies, economic/community development experts and homeownership specialists.
Middle Georgia Technical College is located at 80 Cohen Walker Drive.
Expected attendees include small business owners, entrepreneurs, homebuyers, real estate agents, bankers and local government officials. Workshop topics include: Basics of Opportunity Zones, Main Street Program Overview and Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing.
Beginning at 10 a.m., Gov. Sonny Perdue and other officials are expected to speak, according to the release.The event in Warner Robins is one of six expos being held around the state.
