Macon man, woman indicted on molestation charges

A Macon man and woman have been indicted on two counts of aggravated child molestation and three counts of cruelty to children stemming from the alleged sexual and physical assault of a 5-month-old girl, according to court records.

Keena Juan Lockett, 27, and Brittney C. Williams, 20, of an address in the Wynfield Apartments complex off Mercer University Drive, were indicted by a Bibb County grand jury Tuesday in connection with the incidents that allegedly happened between Jan. 11 and Jan. 13, according to the records.

An investigation was started in January when a Macon physician reported signs of assault and molestation to police. Lockett and Williams were arrested at their apartment Jan. 17.

The infant suffered a fractured knee and leg and a bruise and cut on her head, according to court records.

Williams was released on $5,600 bond Feb. 7 and Lockett was released on $5,600 bond Feb. 13.

The grand jury also indicted:
