Macon-Bibb County firefighters battled an early morning house fire near downtown Macon.
Crews were called to 1660 Second Street at about 6:45 a.m. this morning where a two-story house was ablaze at the corner of Violet Avenue.
Firefighters did a search and rescue operation but did not find anyone inside the burning building which was vacant and did not have power hooked up, firefighters said.
This is the second fire in the bright yellow house in recent weeks.
A fire investigator stapled posters for the Arson Hotline on the front of the house where the fire began on the back porch, firefighters said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
