UPDATE: Knife-wielding robber hits Pio Nono convenience store in Macon's latest robbery

A man with a knife robbed a Pio Nono Avenue convenience store late Thursday night.

Witnesses say an older black man wearing a dark-colored jogging suit and white tennis shoes showed a knife and grabbed money out of the cash register at the Flash Foods at 4314 Pio Nono Ave. shortly after 9 p.m., according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.

He ran toward Dewey Street and got away.
