Four Macon businesses robbed late Monday

Macon police are looking for the culprits who robbed four businesses late Monday including three incidents where guns were used, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.

Beginning at 8:43 p.m., a black man believed to be in his late teens who was wearing a purple shirt and dark pants snatched money from the cash register at the Sav-a-Lot at 1538 Eisenhower Parkway and ran away.

Shortly before 10 p.m. a thin black man wearing a gray jacket and a black rag over his face followed a Chen's Wok employee into the back door of the business at 1080 Gray Highway. The gunman demanded money from the cash registers and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At 10:12 p.m. two black gunmen wearing black bandannas over their faces robbed the Circle K at 2580 Riverside Drive. One of the men was dressed in black while the other was wearing a gray hooded shirt and black pants. They ran away with the cash.

Two black men with guns robbed the Sunrise Stores at 3750 Mercer University Drive at 11:39 p.m. The gunmen were wearing gray or white hooded shirts and bandannas over their faces. One of them was wearing glasses as they ran away toward Atwood Drive, the release stated.
