High fire danger has prompted The National Weather Service to issue a red flag warning today for Central Georgia.
The warning is posted from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. for all of central and northern parts of the state.
Relative humidity will drop below 25 percent with the bitter cold air that's headed into the state and will drop temperatures into the teens Friday and Saturday mornings.
