Second suspect accused of Nov. homicide arrested

A second man has been arrested in connection with the Nov. 19 fatal stabbing of a man at Parkview Apartments off Rocky Creek Road, according to the Macon police.

Terrance Wilburn, 22, is charged with murder in the death of 52-year-old David Boone, according to a police news release.

Members of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force developed information that Wilburn could be found in Forsyth, said Deputy U.S. Marshal John Edgar.

While driving, task force members spotted Wilburn’s vehicle driving in the other direction on Ga. 74 and turned around to follow him, Edgar said.

Wilburn stopped at an Exxon convenience store where task force members arrested him in the store at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, he said.

A crimestoppers tip also aided in Wilburn’s arrest, Edgar said.

Jonathan Douglas, 19, of Hillcrest Avenue, also was charged with murder in Boone’s death on Nov. 19 after he walked from Parkview Apartments, 4150 Lions Place, to the police precinct on Houston Avenue just after the stabbing.

Douglas talked with officers who noticed blood on his clothing and cuts on his hands. He is reported to have told the officers that there was a dead body in one of the apartments.

When officers arrived, they found Boone inside his apartment and officers recovered a knife.

Douglas is being held without bond at the Bibb County jail, according to jail records.
