A 27-year-old woman was fatally shot Sunday night in the 2900 block of Gordon Street, said Bibb County coroner Leon Jones.
Margo Clyde, of Pansy Avenue, was shot in the leg just before 7:45 p.m. at 2977 Gordon Street, where some people were gathered in the yard, according to the Macon Police. She was pronounced dead at 8:11 p.m. at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Jones said.
Travis Clyde, 37, also sustained two gunshot wounds in the shooting, Jones said.
Jones said Travis Clyde was entering surgery just after 9 p.m. A Macon police spokesperson said that one of Travis Clyde’s wounds was to his side.
