UPDATE: Names released in Sunday car crash that killed 4

The names of eight people who were involved in a Sunday car crash that left four dead were made available Tuesday.

According to Craig Minor, chief communications officer with the Georgia State Patrol:

Christy Hutcheson, 34, of Baxley, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Astro van north on Bell Telephone Road in Jeff Davis County when she collided with a 2001 Mazda MPV that failed to stop at a stop sign as it traveled east on Post Road.

Hutcheson was killed in the crash, along with three passengers in the van. Those passengers were: Betty Colson, 68; Kamron Hutcheson, 9; and Jacob Hutcheson, 14.

Another passenger, Jordan Scott, 12, was seriously injured.

The driver of the Mazda MPV, Antonio Fraide, 41, of Douglas, and one passenger, Isaac Fraide, 5, did not have any visible injuries.

Another passenger in the Mazda MPV, Maria Fraide, 35, was seriously injured and was taken to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

Seven of the eight occupants were wearing seat belts.

The investigation has been turned over to the state patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team.
