Macon ties record low

Macon tied the record low temperature of 24 degrees this morning at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport.

Warner Robins also hit 24 degrees at Robins Air Force Base this morning.

Cold air across the state plunged temperatures into twenties all across the state.

Cartersville recorded a low of 20 degrees while Brunswick was the warm spot at 32 degrees.

Macon's record was set in 2005 when the mercury sank to 24 degrees on Nov. 19.
