Wind advisory today increases fire danger, freeze warning for tomorrow

Hold on to your hat and button up your coat today as winds will be gusting to at least 35 miles per hour with a high of only 50 degrees which will feel much colder due to the wind chill.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory until 6 p.m. today along with a red flag warning from noon until 6 p.m. due to high fire danger.

Humidity levels are low, conditions are dry and winds will be steadily blowing which could quickly fan any small fire into an inferno.

A freeze warning is also posted from 10 p.m. tonight until 9 a.m. Wednesday due to temperatures forecast in the mid-twenties.
