The temperature dropped to 32 degrees this morning in Macon and Warner Robins verifying a freeze warning issued by The National Weather Service.
According minimum temperatures recorded this morning lows across the state's reporting station ranged from 28 degrees in Rome to 29 degrees in Augusta and Peachtree City to 37 degrees in Savannah.
Today's record low in Macon was 27 degrees set in 2001. Normal lows for this time of year in Central Georgia are in the upper 40s.
Thurdsday's low temperatures are expected to be in the upper 30s, according to the NWS forecast.
