Macon police are looking for the driver who hit and killed a man who was crossing Emery Highway near Short Street.
At about 7:45 p.m. Monday, 50-year-old Terry Raines of Macon was hit by an unknown vehicle, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.
Emergency crews rushed Raines to The Medical Center of Central Georgia where he was pronounced dead, the release stated.
Investigators need help from witnesses to identify the vehicle that hit Raines. Anyone with information is asked to call Macon police at 751-7500 or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68CRIME.
