A Bibb County sheriff's deputy using Stop Sticks ended a high speed chase of up to 100 miles per hour on Interstate 16.
Deputy Anthony Vadini learned authorities were chasing an armed robbery suspect out of Emanuel County and positioned himself at the 7 mile marker on the interstate at about 10 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
The device flattened the suspect's tires and Brandon Eugene Ingram, 34, of Alabama was arrested and transported back to Emanuel County, the release stated.
Officers recovered money from the robbery and a weapon.
