A man munching on a biscuit during the morning commute is blamed for an accident at about 7:30 a.m. today at the intersection of Fulton Mill Road and Mount Pleasant Church Road in western Bibb County.
Christopher Harris, 30, was turning left onto Mount Pleasant at the stop sign on Fulton Mill Road when he lost control of his 1999 Honda Civic and hit a Jeep Liberty stopped at the intersection, said Lt. George Meadows of the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
Harris suffered a cut ear in the crash but did not seek medical treatment on the scene, Meadows said.
"The deputy said he had a biscuit in his hand which may have been a contributing factor," Meadows said.
