The GBI Bomb Squad was called to the Warner Robins Post office on North Davis Drive to investigate a suspicious package Tuesday evening.
The package, which had no address or return address labels, was hastily wrapped in plastic and taped up and lying on a mail sorting table shortly after 6:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.
Police cordoned off an area between North Davis Drive, Thomas Boulevard and King Street while they investigated.
The GBI robot X-rayed the packaged but couldn't determine the contents so the mechanical device opened the package to find a fleece coat, the release stated.
