A Warner Robins man faces numerous charges including DUI after a 13-year-old was critically injured when he was hit by a van Sunday evening.
Ramon Quinones-Correa, 31, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Astro on Diggs Boulevard when he left the road and hit the teen who was standing in a yard at 205 Diggs Boulevard, according to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department.
After hitting the teen, the van hit a mailbox and utility pole head-on before heading back into the road in the wrong lane and then hit a chain link fence at 303 Diggs Boulevard before the driver tried to run away, the release stated.
Neighbors detained Quinones-Correa and escorted him back to the scene where he was arrested.
