Flames gutted a home early this morning in south Macon.
At about 3 a.m. firefighters found the house at 3238 O'Hara Drive ablaze in the neighborhood off Bloomfield Drive.
Macon-Bibb Fire Department district chief Joe Pinkney said the fire gutted the brick house.
"No one was at home, thank God," Pinkney said.

Firefighters believe the blaze started in the living room, Pinkney said.
"We know where it started but we have to determine how it started," he said.
Macon-Bibb arson investigator Capt. Tom Musselwhile will investigate the cause of the fire later today.
