Macon-Bibb County firefighters suspect an early morning apartment fire was deliberately set off Rocky Creek Road.
District Fire Chief J.L. Pinkney said suspicious evidence was found on the scene of the fire in a two-story duplex.
The blaze was reported shortly before 7 a.m. at 1204 Triple Hill Drive off Rocky Creek Road.

Neighbors said they did not see or hear anything unusual before fire engines arrived but that vagrants have frequented the abandoned buildings.
