Macon-Bibb County firefighters suspect an early morning apartment fire was deliberately set off Rocky Creek Road.
District Fire Chief J.L. Pinkney said suspicious evidence was found on the scene of the fire in a two-story duplex.
The blaze was reported shortly before 7 a.m. at 1204 Triple Hill Drive off Rocky Creek Road.
The row of four buildings made of brick, block and wood is up for sale according to a sign on the property.

Neighbors said they did not see or hear anything unusual before fire engines arrived but that vagrants have frequented the abandoned buildings.
A firefighter reporting to work at the Rocky Creek station reported the fire which had engulfed the inside of the structure before crews made it to the scene.
A thin layer of smoke hung in the sky over the neighborhood that borders Interstate 75.
An arson investigator is on the scene trying to determine what ignited the blaze.
