Ben Hill County deputies and Fitzgerald police officers recovered more than seven pounds of cocaine Saturday at a Fitzgerald motel.
Three men from Buford were arrested at the Western Motel shortly before noon Saturday, said Sheriff Bobby McLemore.
"I received some information, got my drug agents out and got some assistance from Fitzgerald police and we moved on it," McLemore said. "The undercover operation lasted less than an hour."
Agents arrested Rigoberto Figueroa-Benitez, 25, Jose de Dejesus-Guerrero, 34, and Hulices Montes, 18, and confiscated three kilos of cocaine valued at a quarter of a million dollars, McLemore said.

"That's the biggest cocaine bust we've ever had in this county," McLemore said.
