Traffic should be back to normal in Macon following two accidents this afternoon on Interstate 75, police spokesman Lt. Eric Walker said.
A tractor-trailer truck jackknifed about 12:30 p.m. near the Interstate 16/I-75 North split as the driver attempted to avoid hitting a car that had entered his lane, according to police.
Jefferson Green of Forsyth, the truck driver, lost control of his 18-wheeler and crashed into the guardrail, Walker said.
No one was injured.

The driver of the other car was not on scene, according to police.
Police also have cleared a single-vehicle accident on I-75 South near the Pio Nono Avenue entrance ramp.
Shane Spells of Macon was getting on the interstate when his Jeep Liberty began to hydroplane, causing the vehicle to hit a storm drain and overturn, Walker said.
There were no injuries.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in both incidents.
