The Georgia State Patrol reports Interstate 75 is back open following an accident involving a tractor trailer and two automobiles this morning that blocked northbound and southbound lanes near the 112 mile marker in Dooly County.
Traffic was blocked in the northbound lanes for about three and a half hours as crews cleared the wreckage following the accident that happened shortly after 7:30 a.m.
Motorists slowed as they detoured around the wreck in the southbound lanes.
The Dooly County Sheriff's Office reports those injured in the accident were taken to Crisp Regional Hospital but no information was immediately available about the number of people hurt and extent of their injuries.
