Masked men rob Waffle House on Pio Nono Avenue

Macon Police are looking for two masked gunmen who held up the Waffle House at 4285 Pio Nono Ave. early this morning.

At about 2:30 a.m. the men entered the restaurant with a pistol and ordered everyone to the floor while they took money from the cash register and employees, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department. No customers were in the 24-hour restaurant during the robbery.

The robbers are described as two black men. One was wearing a black ski mask, gray jogging pants, a black shirt and white shoes while the other had on black pants, a dark shirt and a blue bandanna over his face, the release stated.

The gunmen left on foot but police are looking for a small white car that was in the area just before the robbery.
